“The Lord provides for us so we provide for others”
– Simon

The Simon’s House helps people who have the desire for a better life—by providing resources to help them take the first step. We offer mentorship, coaching, support, and encouragement to effectively instill change. The Simon’s House is an advocate for change through evaluating an individual’s commitment to change, diagnosing the steps needed, and supporting the process for a better life.

As a God centered community, we at The Simon’s House believe there is good in every person. We work with less fortunate people: homeless, poor and needy, veterans, single parents, children. For individuals just released from prison we provide mentorship to help ensure a long-term successful re-entry into society.

“I’m not in the streets anymore. I’ve got my business.
The Simon’s House motivated me, supported me”
– Bruce

Certified Nursing Assistants help provide compassionate hands-on care to families who need an extra hand in taking care of their loved one.

“I was sick and you cared for me.”
– Matthew 25:36

Clients come to us by referral from church organizations as well as other agencies. The Simon’s House thoroughly evaluates existing community resources that are in place to help ensure that those in need of assistance have awareness of and access to resources specific to their situation.

When appropriate, our staff and volunteers offer direct support to our clients by providing food, transitional housing, and even home repair as needed. First Coast News Coverage

“I could not believe it, I was just overwhelmed”
– Tammy

Sometimes people need a little boost to get that next level, or to be able to stand and support themselves. They need just a little help to get them going.

The Simon’s House measures success by the awakening and forward progress of our clients’ lives. We would rather have one person profoundly benefit from our services than falsely claim to serve thousands.

“The Simon´s House started during the year of 2006, when I began to ask The Lord questions about doing the things that I loved—which was helping those who were less fortunate. I am a man who has a heart for people, and I realized that this was part of God’s purpose for me. I began praying and seeking The Lord for answers. And through seeking, trusting, fasting and praying and having faith in God The Simon´s House was born.”

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.”
